The Merseyside derby ended 2 – 0 in Everton’s favor as Richarlison and Sigurdsson pile more misery on defending champions, Liverpool.
It was the fourth consecutive home defeat in the Meyerside derby, which Manager Jurgen Klopp has never lost until now.
Richarlison took a well-deserved first half goal after being set up nicely by James Rodriguez before Sigurdsson got the second from the penalty spot to make it 2-0.
The defeat means Liverpool slip to seventh position on the EPL log with top four finish losing increasingly impossible.
Captain, Henderson also limped off inside 30 minutes and was replaced by Nathaniel Phillips, he joins a long list of Liverpool players on the sidelines.
