StarBoy Music boss, Wizkid beats off competition from Davido, Burna Boy, Mayorkun and Tiwa Savage to win the Artiste of the Year award at the just concluded Headies.
Olamide’s protégé, Fireboy DML was however the biggest winner on the night, grabbing 5 awards: Best R&B album, Best R&B single, Best Pop album and Revelation of the Year.
Also, 2020-break-out star, Omah Lay won the keenly contested Next Rated award, beating fellow well-deserving nominees, Tems, Oxlade and Bella Shmurda.
The show was the 14th edition of Headies Awards and held at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos State.
